I truly cannot recommend Bri and On Demand Doulas enough. As a third-time mom, I really thought I had it all figured out 😂 I’ve worked in women’s health for almost 10 years and I’ve been a mom for almost 6, but I had NO idea how much I needed a doula and, more importantly, how much both my husband and I would benefit from having one.
Bri supported both of us throughout my labor, including walking around and laboring with us in the park with our peanut ball while we scared the high school boys practicing soccer and football 😂 She was exactly what we didn’t know we needed and I’m so grateful she was part of bringing our third baby into the world.
And now we’re getting to experience the postpartum side too and I honestly wish every mom had access to this kind of support.
We were matched with a postpartum doula who has already helped our family SO much. She helped with laundry when I got home from the hospital, made sure I was actually eating and drinking enough water, connected me with a lactation consultant, reminded me that breastfeeding should never hurt and keeps reminding me to SLOW DOWN AND REST.
These sound like such simple things but if you’re a mom, you know how far an extra set of hands can go. I feel like as women we have our babies and immediately think we need to get back to doing everything when really we need time to heal too.
If you’re thinking you don’t need a doula because “I got this,” chances are YOU DO got this but you also don’t need to be a hero and do it alone.
This third baby was such a gift and just under a week in, having Bri and On Demand Doulas supporting us through both birth and postpartum has been such a gift too. 🤍

Briana was truly a gift during a time when we needed support the most. It had been a long time since my husband and I cared for a newborn day‑to‑day, and we had forgotten so much. Briana stepped in with patience, knowledge, and kindness, guiding us through every little detail without ever making us feel overwhelmed.

Brie with On Demand Doulas was an essential part of my pregnancy. Being able to reach her at any hour of the day for reassurance was comforting, and it's clear that shes knowledgeable and will always research topics and concerns you bring up to her.
Being in the hospital for your first pregnancy is a scary experience, but having Brie by my side supporting me every step of the way is something I'll remember for the rest of my life.
Ultimately, meeting someone that's passionate for their career in the medical field is few and far between, but Brie undoubtedly loves what she does and it shows.

I hired Briana literally the day before my induction. She was one of the doulas recommended by our hospital coordinator, Lisa, and I reached out because I suddenly realized I was about to give birth and genuinely felt like I had no idea what I was doing. It ended up being one of the best decisions we made.
Briana stayed with us through 33 hours of labor and ultimately an unplanned C-section. I learned SO much from her. She never gave up on what we wanted, helped us understand our options and advocate for ourselves, and stayed with us the entire time. Even sleeping in her car during the few breaks we had just so she could stay close.
Her support didn’t end at the hospital either. She offered in-home support and a lactation consultation right after, and even now I know I can text her anytime with literally anything. After sharing such an intense and life-changing experience together, I genuinely consider her a friend for life.
I cannot imagine that day without Briana helping me, my husband and my mom through it. Doulas do not get nearly enough credit. After experiencing what they actually do for mothers and families, I truly believe this should be a service covered by insurance and available to every woman.
Forever grateful she is part of our son’s birth story. 🤍

Briana from Demand Doulas was amazing. My wife and I are incredibly grateful that she was part of our birth experience. I reached out for her doula services at the very last minute which is about as "on-demand" as it gets, and despite the short notice, she was there for us every step of the way, no matter the time.

My wife and I are so happy we chose Bri to be our doula. She was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable while preparing us to be first time parents. She was available any time we needed her which made us feel more confident and comfortable. I said this to my wife while leaving the hospital that I was so glad Bri was there, she really made a huge difference for us during such an important time. Her post partum and breastfeeding support was incredibly beneficial to my wife and gave her the tips and tricks needed to succeed. Overall we couldn't recommend her highly enough.

Briana was an invaluable resource to me during my pregnancy journey. It took us about 2 years to get pregnant, and while we were not ready to look into IVF, Briana helped us navigate Drs appointments, the kinds of questions to ask and after a very disappointing appointment with a dismissive provider, Briana gave me the confidence and assurance I needed to push back and ultimately find a Dr who was more aligned with our wishes and plan. She is incredibly knowledgeable and so passionate about fertility and women's health. I live too far into CT to have had her as my doula, but I found myself turning to her blog and website as a source of trusted information.
